Swift hire is a family run tool hire business established in 1980. Located in Worsley, Manchester, we have a range of high quality tools and equipment for hire and sale. A delivery and collection service is available.

Swift Hire have a workshop dedicated to customer repairs. We welcome all types of plant and machinery. Our highly qualified service technicians are familiar with all manufacturers’ original standards, varying from petrol engines to standard 110v/1240v motors to cordless. Swift Hire is able to repair trade and domestic type tools.

All plant and machinery are repaired at our workshop, by Swift Hire staff, therefore, the price quoted is what you pay.

Swift Hire offer certified PAT testing of all types of electrical equipment.

Conditions of Hire

  1. Proof of identity must be shown.
  2. All hires are subject to the Conditions of Hire on the reverse of the customer’s copy.
  3. A deposit is required on all hires
  4. We will gladly open credit accounts – subject to satisfactory references.
  5. Any negligent damage will be charged for.
  6. Any equipment lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair will be charged at the current replacement cost.
  7. Any equipment delivered will incur a delivery charge.
  8. V.A.T. will be charged at the current rate.
  9. All time out is chargeable – including Sundays and Bank Holidays.
  10. Insurance is the Hirer’s responsibility.
